As expected, OnePlus unveiled the next generation of its flagship smartphone series, the OnePlus 9 series, in partnership with three years with photography pioneer Hasselblad.
Under this new partnership, OnePlus has integrated its powerful hardware with the Hasselblad mobile camera in the Series 9 to give its phones a better and more professional photography experience.
This series consists of two flagship phones, the regular OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, in addition to a third phone with lower specifications and price called OnePlus 9R only for the Indian market.
OnePlus 9:
The regular version of the OnePlus 9 comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED screen (2400x 1080 pixels) with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sensitivity,402 pixels per inch density, HDR 10 Plus support, 1300 nits brightness peak, and Protected by Gorilla Glass (no information about the used generation) With a plastic side frame and glass back.
This phone comes with the Snapdragon 888 5G processor with a maximum frequency of 2.84 GHz, with an Adreno 660 graphics processor, and 8 to 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5).
OnePlus 9 offers two internal storage options of 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 without an entrance to add an external storage card, and it works on Color OS 11 interface (in China) or Oxygen OS 11 interface (in the rest of the countries of the world). Both of them are based on Android 11.
This phone also comes with a large 4500 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging (100% in 29 minutes) and 15W wireless charging.
The selfie camera comes in the form of a punch hole in the front screen, and it is a 16-megapixel wide camera, with a Sony IMX 471 sensor, with a lens slot of 2.4. This Pro version has a quad rear camera system consisting of a 48 MP wide primary camera that uses the Sony IMX789 lens and has an f/1.8 aperture, Laser Auto Focus, and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. Additionally, the phone has a 50 MP, ultra-wide camera (f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX766 lens), an 8 MP telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture) that supports OIS, AF, and up to 3.3 times optical zoom, and a fourth 2 MP Monochrome camera (f/2.4 aperture). This camera setup can shot videos in up to 8K resolution, Super Slow Motion videos at up to 1080p at 240 fps.
The front camera of the OnePlus 9 Pro is similar to the one in the regular OnePlus 9 model, The phone also supports the same technologies and features found in the standard edition of this series (Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, stereo speaker, under-screen fingerprint).
This version also carries a 4500 mAh battery that supports 65-watt fast charging (able to charge the battery from 1 to 100% in 29 minutes), and 50-watt wireless charging (able to charge the battery to 100% in 43 minutes).
