Xiaomi's Redmi series is usually a game-changer in the budget or mid-range smartphones by offering devices with higher specifications than competitors at a very reasonable price, and today, after months of rumors and leaks, Xiaomi unveiled the new Redmi Note 10 series, Which seems to upend the mid-range smartphones market entirely.
The Global version of the Redmi 10 series consists of 4 models that run the MIUI 12 user interface based on Android 11: the vanilla Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, Redmi 10 Note Pro, and Redmi Note 10 5G, That all come with excellent hardware specifications, which are expected to provide a great user experience for the consumers.
Redmi Note 10 Pro:
The Redmi Note 10 Pro is the high-end device in this series, and for the first time in the Redmi Note series, it comes with a 6.67 inches full HD+ AMOLED display, that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch response rate, HDR10, 395 pixels per inch (PPI) density, and protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It's powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 732G processor (8-nanometer manufacturing accuracy) clocked at 2.3 GHz, Adreno 618 GPU, and 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2) extendable by an SD card, and features Bluetooth 5.1, Infrared port, 3.5 mm jack port, NFC (Market dependent), Stereo speakers, USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, FM radio, IP53 dust and splash protection, and comes with a 5020 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging (59% in 30 min according to Xiaomi).
This phone can shoot videos in 4K resolution, and it comes equipped with a quad rear camera system consist of a 108MP f/1.9 main camera with the new Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, joined by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, a 5MP f/2.4 tele-macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, while the selfie camera is a 16MP f/2.45wide camera located in a punch hole at the top of the screen of the AMOLED screen.

The normal Redmi Note 10 comes with a Full HD+ 6.43 inches AMOLED display that supports a 60 Hz refresh rate, 409 PPI density, and protected by the Gorilla Glass 3, and powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 678 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz (11-nanometer manufacturing process), and Adreno 612 GPU.
It comes with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, and up to 128 GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2) extendable by an SD card, and feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, 3.5 mm jack port, Stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, IR port, USB Type-C 2.0port, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and IP53 dust and splash protection.
Redmi Note 10 has also four cameras in the back: a 48 MP f/1.8 wide main camera, an 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, and two 2 MP f/2.4 cameras for the macro
and the depth, and an f/2.5 13 MP wide camera for the selfie, and will be available on March 8 in Onyx Gray, Pebble White, Lake Green with a price of $199 for the 4/64 GB configuration, $199 for the 4/128 GB variant, and $279 for the 8/128 GB model.
Redmi Note 10S :
The Redmi Note 10S is very similar to the previous model, it has the same display, battery, colors, and storage options, but it's instead powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor with the Mali-G76 GPU, and offers a 64MP f/1.79 main camera in place of the 48 MP one of the Note 10, and an 8 GB of RAM variant, and support NFC (Market dependent). It is available starting at $229 for the 6/64 GB variant, the 6/128 GB model for $249, and $279 for the 8/128 GB model.
Redmi Note 10 5G :
Xiaomi has also released a special version of the Redmi Note 10 smartphone for those who want a cheap 5G phone. However, unlike the previous three versions, this version comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD display, with 90 Hz refresh rate support, 405 PPI, and protected by the Gorilla Glass 3. It's powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor (7 nm manufacturing process) with the Mali-G57 GPU (graphic card) and offers 4 GB to 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB to 128 GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2) with an SD card slot support, of course.
Redmi Note 5G also has only three cameras on the back: a 48 MP f/1.8 wide main camera, and two 2 MP f/2.4 for the macro and the depth, and an 8 MP f/2.0 wide camera on the front for the selfie.
