Oppo Announced its Flagship Find X5 Series


Oppo has officially announced its new flagship Find X5 Series smartphones, in cooperation with the Swedish camera maker Hasselland, in order to improve the night photography experience in the phone.

This series consists of two phones, the OPPO Find X5 and the Find X5 Pro, that feature an AI chip for image processing developed by OPPO called MariSilicon X Imaging NPU that allows the phone to capture 4K Night videos. In addition, both phones also have two cameras with a Sony IMX766 sensor within the rear camera system, with the Hasselblad Color Calibration technology, which is supposed to make the two phones an excellent choice for professional photography enthusiasts.

Oppo Find X5:


Oppo Find X5 comes with a 6.55 Full HD+ AMOLED display, with a 1000 nits brightness pick, a 120 Hz dynamic (variable) refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, 402 Pixels Per Inch (PPI) density, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The phone has very thin bezels, as the screen makes up 92.70% of the front end of the phone, and the back of the device is made of matte glass.

The Oppo Find X5 phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with an Adreno 660 graphics processor, 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage of UFS3.1 type that is not expandable as the phone does not have a place for an external memory card.

The device comes with a Color S 12.1 interface based on the Android 12 system, and a 4800 mAh battery cut into two parts, which enabled the Oppo Find X5 to support fast charging at 80W, 30W Fast wireless charging, and 10W Reverse wireless charging.


The rear camera system of the Oppo Find X5 consists of three cameras, the first of which is a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera (Sony IMX766 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, support for autofocus and optical image stabilization), and the second is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera Capable of shooting macro photos at a distance of 4 cm (Sony IMX766 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 110-degree field of view, supports autofocus), and the last camera is a 13 MP telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture, 45° field of view) degree, supports autofocus, 5x hybrid optical zoom and 20x digital zoom).

The rear camera system can record videos at up to 4K 60 Frames Per Second (FPS), slow-motion videos at up to 1080P 240 FPS, Ultra Steady videos at 1080P 60 FPS. Oppo Find X5 has also a 32 MP selfie camera (wide-angle lens, f/2.4 aperture, and 81° field of view) that can record videos at up to 1080P at 30 FPS.

Note: Ultra Steady, is a built-in camera technology that acts as a camera stabilizer when you're shooting video, letting you keep up with the action in the moment without needing to set up a tripod or pack an extra action camera. {alertSuccess}

Oppo Find X5 comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C 3.1 port for charging and data transfer, and NFC support. It is available in White and Black colors from March 14, at 999 €.


Oppo Find X5 Pro:


The Pro model of Oppo Find X5 comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor from Qualcomm with Adreno 730 GPU, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1) with no SD card slot.

The phone also comes with a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD + resolution, 120 Hz dynamic refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, 1300 nits pick brightness, 10-bit depth color, 525 PPI density, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.


The Oppo Find X5 also has 3 rear cameras, including two 50-megapixel cameras with a Sony IMX766 sensor, in addition to a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. In detail, the phone has a 50MP primary camera with a wide-angle and f/1.7 lens slot that supports autofocus and 5-axis optical image stabilization, a second ultra-wide-angle 50 MP camera with f/2.2 lens slot that supports multi-directional autofocus and a field of view of 112 degrees, in addition to a third 13-megapixel telephoto camera, f/2.4 aperture, capable of capturing macro photos at a very close distance of 4 centimeters.

 The rear camera system of the Oppo Find X5 Pro can record 4K video at 60 frames per second, and slow-motion video in 1080p at 240p. The Oppo Find X5 Pro has a selfie camera with the same specifications as the regular version of the Oppo Find X5.

Last but not least, the phone has a 5000 mAh battery (also divided into two parts) that supports 80W fast charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W vertical charging. It also has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, fingerprint Finger under the screen, USB 3.1 port for charging and data transfer, and IP68 protection against water and dust.

The phone runs on the ColorOS 12.1 interface based on Android 12 and it is available in Glaze Black and Ceramic White colors,  from March 14at 1299 euros.
