Meta has recently been working on adding many features to its WhatsApp instant messaging application to provide more ways for its users to express themselves and communicate their feelings to their friends and families easily and smoothly.
This time, after months of testing, Meta Inc. has finally introduced the feature to interact with WhatsApp chat messages for beta testers of the app.
This feature appeared for users after updating to version 2.22.8.3 yesterday, as they are now able to interact with messages in individual and groups chats by long-pressing on a message to reveal a row of 6 emojis where they can choose from to interact with the message.
These emojis are Like, Love, Laugh, Suprised, Sad, and Thanks, and they appear on the left side of the message you're interacting with (or on the right for app users in right-to-left languages).
Unfortunately, this feature is not available to all beta testers of the application yet, as the company seems to be testing this feature first with a small number of users to take their feedback, to be circulated later to all testers before it is released to the general users later. On the other hand, everyone can see these interactions regardless of whether they have them now or not.
